Documents are emailed to as Microsoft Word attachments. Editing is priced on a per word basis, calculated from the submitted document using the Word Count function in the Tools menu. Corrections and comments are made using Track Changes. Author can review all edits and comments and use the “Accept” or “Reject” buttons to finalize the copy. 

A detailed invoice is provided for each job, and payment is due upon receipt of the edited document. Unless subsequent editorial comments specifically note language problems that I previously addressed, follow-up edits may incur additional charges. 

Small or custom edits are priced at an hourly rate of $50/hr. Minimum fee for any single editing job is $50. Premiums may apply for immediate turn-around times.

Proofreading: 3.0¢/word, includes
